I received a referral from a friend who already works there. It was a VRA hire. Sent my application packet and received a call back a couple of days later. I was sent a pre-employment packet and had a couple of days to complete it. Got a call from the Atlanta office with their credentialing an then was scheduled for a phone interview. Phone interview was pretty brief and was told that they are hoping to finish the on-boarding stuff by the end of february.

They only asked me 3 questions after explaining what the job duties are. What are your experience in dealing with the public (job duties)? Have you ever experienced when a customer was upset what did you do? How have you handle conflict with a co-worker.

I do not remember much else, as I interviewed early 2023. I remember that I interviewed with two representatives through microsoft teams. I was asked a series of questions. The whole interview took probably about an hour

Entrevista
The interview began with writing a series of answers to open ended questions (i.e what are your goals, why do you want to work for SSA, which skills do you think will be most important)
The questionnaire was then followed by a two person panel interview. Many of the questions were STAR based and based on your experience in providing customer service.
My overall experience was positive. I felt the interview was very straight forward.

Applied on USAjobs.gov website, completed online assessment, 4 months later I was called for the “Meet and Deal” panel interview the following day, 1 week later my references were checked, and I received an offer the following week.
