The interviews went fantastically. A 30 minute phone screen and then 2 back to back technical/behavioral interviews. The technical interview ended up broaching into the behavioral category about halfway through.

They only pick 5. yes only 5 out of 30.

Start to finish, the process was incredibly pleasant. I applied on my campus career portal over the winter break, and was contacted about a phone screen within a couple weeks. A few weeks later, after another telephone interview, I was invited into the office for several back to back interviews with the team I'd be working with. Everybody I spoke to was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely interested in getting to know me and how I would fit at the company.

The interview process was very efficient and enjoyable. I talked to multiple people, and it felt more like conversations than a one sided interview. It was nice to be able to go to the office and get a feel for the vibe of the office.

3 Stages: 1. Phone screen with a consultant from the division you'd be interning for. Basic questions such as walkthrough of resume, why Slalom, etc. 2. Technical questions with another person on the team. Basic stats questions. 3. In-person with leaders. The first 2 stages were fine. The last stage was HIGHLY unprofessional. My first interviewer admitted to not knowing anything about me beforehand, so it was incredibly awkward. I had to kill 20 minutes trying to think of questions, which was completely unexpected. My second interviewer was incredibly rude. Firstly, my second interviewer was a different person than who was scheduled, and I was never informed of having a different person. Secondly, he kept interrupting me and assumed my answers before letting me finish -- and he was off on his assumptions, but it didn't matter because his first impressions of me became pretty set in stone. Thirdly, he admitted that he wasn't informed of the internship until recently. Once the interviews were over, I didn't even touch base with the recruiter or anyone else. I wasn't even walked out. When I found out I didn't get the internship and I asked for feedback, their response was lacking technical skills. However, they already tested my technical skills during Round 2. I figured that if technical skills were the issue, I wouldn't have made it past that stage. Also, the technical questions were basic stats questions, nothing about coding/ML.

First had a 20 minute phone call asking about many different questions like html codes, sql queries, data structures, etc. Then was invited to an on-site interview with about 10 other candidates. First interview was technical questions, second interview was about previous group work. Never got back to me after the interview.
