3 stage interview. COO is hiring manager. Another call with CEO. Third with panel, CTO CIO, Compliance lead. This position was for Head of Payments reporting to COO. Team asked the same question three times on the interview and didn't seem to understand. Wasn't sure if this was a test or they just lacked the knowledge. Nonetheless, an offer was made.
Passed all interviews just to get a lowball offer with a completely lower title, while keeping the same scope of work. Very deceitful and shows COO lack of leadership skills. He comes off as transparent and open, but in reality he can NOT be trusted. In other words, get ready to get overworked for less pay and title with the risk of the company not existing in the next 5 years.
