First had an interview with a recruitment advisor - she asked me basic competency questions and was really friendly. At the end, she informed me that she would like to send me through to the next stage which was a video interview a couple days after.
My video interview was with the head of department and also a trainer - both really nice! They asked me further competency questions and asked if I had any questions.
Overall such a positive experience and a very comfortable interview.

I believe I was racially profiled because I was not asked any questions during the face -to-face then told that I was unsuccessful without reasons.
I applied online. I got a over the phone interview with HR, which I was asked around 2-3 competency based questions. I was then told successful to have another interview with the department manager and another worker. During this interview, I was not asked any competency based questions. In fact, the only question I was asked was 'what are you doing now'? The interviewers only spoke about the contents of the job. E.g what I would be doing on a day to day basis, the pay, how they are a nice team.
2 days later I was told that I was unsuccessful without any reasons. I emailed back to ask for feedback, but I was ignored.
It was strange to tell someone that they were unsuccessful when you have not given them the chance to say why they should be considered for the job. It was as if they already knew they were not going to hire me. The only reason I can give is that because I was black. I say this because everything was going well until the face to face interview.
