I got call from Russell Tobin Recruiter and processed for the role 'System Administrator' for the client. initially I asked CTC as per industry standard. but recruiter told we cant give more than the specified amount. i accepted that and attended the interview. I got selected for that post. After that recruiter called and asked my personal details for offer generation. immediately she called next day and told that client will not provide that much CTC. and she asked me to negotiate 60K to get offer letter. and she talked rough ad rudely. i told the CTC is your offered one then how can i negotiate. She told if you negotiate i will send offer letter like that. i negotiate 30 K but she told client is not responding and still didnt release offer letter. its very hurting even after selecting for the position to lose the job for these reasons. the worst interview progress which i have seen in my career. I recommend you please consider these incident before processing.
