applied to Account Exec role on Rippling website on Nov 13 and received an automated note right away stating receipt of my resume. Within a couple of hours received another automated note stating that although "impressed" with my qualifications they have decided to move on to other candidates. 2 things stuck out... 1. there is no way that an actual person took the time to read my resume and cover letter and respond within a couple of hours. So it's clear my resume didn't make it through the AI Bots. 2. If by any chance my resume was actually read by someone in HR, it's hard to believe they would so quickly look over someone with 25+ years of IT Sales experience. Hard to tell what type of candidate they are looking for but I would be careful in applying.
