First phone screen with a sourcer who barely has any experience. I liked her personality. Second phone interview with the head of recruiting who is cool and direct.
I had an onsite interview meeting with 6 different individuals. I felt like the interview was in a shack. I and the interviewers encountered a pesky fly that wouldn't go away. I'm sure it was due to the organization allowing dogs at work.
Basically, the first 4 individuals asked the same questions. Please go over your resume. I felt like asking them didnt you review my resume in depth. Green recruiters dont know any other ways to interview.
I'm sure all the individuals I've talked to are solid professionals. They sure need to be trained on how to be efficient interviewers.
I had more years of technology recruiting experience then anyone with this team at Ring. Overall, I felt like it was a waste of time. If they come back an offer I'll probably reject it as the team has no backbone they're all over the map. Hopefully, Amazon HR leadership will crack the whip on the team conforming them into more of a true talent acquisition team.
