I answered an open call job interview for three different positions. The interview took place in a hotel meeting room. I met with the hiring manager and two associates. We began with a quick review of my resume, then questioning began. I was asked about my goals and key traits. In-depth questions were asked regarding previous employment tasks, duties, and metrics. I was offered a lesser position, as a shift manager, than the job I wanted. Employment was contingent on an online application being completed, as well as a personality test, a background check, and a real-life following shift with the manager.
