Overall, an excessively long process that can be pretty frustrating - the stages are just endless. It feels like you're being taken for a ride and, the minute you make one mistake or someone doesn't like you for whatever reason, you're out. Most of the people you meet along the way are nice to your face though.

Worst interview process I've been a part of, and I was excited about the potential of this one because it seemed like perhaps I'd have the opportunity to be judged purely on merit.
Process took over 2 months, and during the entire stretch:
1) I constantly felt like nobody was being straight with me, not really.
2) I did not feel like anyone made the effort to truly understand me and where I was coming from.
There are 2 unpaid take-home projects. And during each one, they told me they just want to see how I work. However, what I discovered was they were more interested in seeing if I would conform to how they already want me to work. They would deliberately leave things out and just hope I would figure them out in the same way they already saw them. Since this company is supposed to be transparent, why not tell each candidate every bit of what you're hoping you will see from them and then allow their natural creativity to flourish? I got a sense they don't believe in the true potential of people, but rather, they believe in hiring people who have similar feminine energy to them. Over time, I believe this will backfire because it will exclude people from the process who bring new perspectives (diversity of thought).
Everyone is nice...to your face. But there was a real lack of heart-centered genuineness and transparency.

There's a first brief interview with the company's CEO that's more relaxed and set to get to know you a little bit. Then there's the second interview that is focused on your skills and qualifications and finally a third interview is with 3-5 team members which goal is to determine if you fit the company's culture.
