Entrevista
I found out OfficeMax was hiring a Printing Associate from an ad on Craig's List. I called and they told me to apply online. I did so, it was not very long. Just a few questions and basic info. I believe you can upload your resume. I was then asked to come in to have an interview on about an hours notice, which for me was ok. I came in and had a talk with the hiring manager in charge of the printing area (Impress). We talked for a little bit, he notices that I have a strong background in computers and recommends me to talk to another person fr a different position (sales consultant). Pretty standard questions were asked like job history (what you did), why do you want to work at office max, etc. In the end they wanted to hire me.

For me it was: "Why do you want to work at officemax?" with a career in perspective. My major at college and previous experience didn't really fit so it was sort of awkward. I was just looking for a part-time job nearby that I could make money while in college.

Extremely quick and easy! He asked me a tops of three questions and they were all exactly from the questionnaire you have to take for the application. He was looking to hire someone quickly so that’s probably why it was short and sweet like that..

Average interview questions 1 on 1. Will ask for you to sell them a material of their choice, usually a pen. Show that you’re capable of retail and that customer service is key.

Very relaxed interview process, very simple predictable questions, and everyone who has gotten an interview has gotten the job at my store, as long as you do some research on basic questions and you prepare your answers you shouldn't be caught off guard.
