Submited application using the (somewhat laborious) online form. A few weeks later I was invited to an interview by email (no phone call - so make sure to check your emails) on Teams. Interview was with the the hiring manager, but questions are too "static" - it's like they're using the same questions for finance teams and other more technical roles (i.e. working on the rails). Found the interview to be a bit poor and opted to withdraw from the process. It doesn't reflect well on the company and shows a lack of flexibility

Look at the Network Rail competencies (particularly the safety ones). Your questions will be based on them. I understand safety and technical skills are important for all employees, but they need to adapt their process!
