I applied in May for the HR Business Partner role with N26. I was approached by the Recruiter a couple of days later and I was booked for an interview. The interview went well and the Recruiter said that was going to send me to the second stage to met a member of the HR Team and that they were going to be in touch with me the week after with details. To my great surprise, I haven't heard back from them. Exactly a month after I received an email - to note that they have an automatic Scheduling Genius so the email is not coming directly from the Recruiter - saying that they wanted me to meet a member of the HR Team. No mention about the fact that they took a month to get back to me, anyway I decided to move forward and I booked the interview even though I was hesitant. The second interview went really well and a couple of hours after I received an email from the automatic Scheduling Genius saying that they moved me to the third interview with another member of the HR Team. I booked the interview and after about two minutes the Scheduling Genius told me that something went wrong and I had to re-book. I was able to book a slot for the interview eventually. On the day of the interview the member of the HR Team did not showed up. I've emailed the Recruiter and the Scheduling Genius twice. I did not get a response so I decided to wait on the call. After about 30 min I've sent an email to the Scheduling Genius confirming that no one showed up and finally someone told me that they were checking with the team on this. I haven't heard from them since. I was literally ghosted by the team and N26. First time I experience such unprofessionalism and disrespect for other people time. No matter what, you should always respect your candidates as they chose you and they're investing their own time to get a role with you. Employer branding and employee experience starts from here. N26 is currently massively investing on business expansion and marketing, I suggest you invest in your internal processes too. You really need to sort this out.

After the first hr round, got the case study , Almost for a month I got no reply and when I asked (a few times in 10 days intervals), I got a reply that I didn't clear the round and with some really minor reasons. Company need to understand that people put effort and time in application and they should be open towards them even if they don't want to hire the employee due to any reason, it would be more appreciated. First time I faced such unprofessional and negative behaviour during any interview.

I received an invitation for my first interview (30 minutes call). Recruiter was 13 minutes late, connection from their side was poor and it was hard to understand anything. Our interview has lasted for 9-10 minutes and the call was over 7 minutes earlier. Very weird interview... After 1 week I got a rejection email saying,, We enjoyed speaking with you and getting to know you better. LOL They did not even try to know me better..

Interview Process Consists of 5 Round Introductory Call: This call was arranged and later re-scheduled and finally it didn't happen at all. Codility Test: This test was consisting of 2-3 Medium/Easy leetcode problems. Pair-Coding Round: Test consist of algorithm, data-structure round in codility platform with Two N26 Engineers , Focus was on O(N) solution and test cases. System Design Round: Basic System design round with desiging a standard system like Instagram, Uber etc Hiring Manager Round: Basic Fit questions. I gave all the rounds and I was rejected at last with no feedback at all which was promised. The process took 1 Month.

First HR interview, it was nice. Talk about background, motivation. Second, they sent me code challenge. It's a challenging. Third, we did live-coding. It's related to complexities. I'm rejected because of data structures and complexity proficiency.

HR call, then given Codility test with 6 tasks. Tests was mostly questions where you answer with text. Passed test. Just few hours later, I got response that "they have proceeded with other candidates". Award-winning interview process, considering that they can verify 6 tasks manually in just a few hours AND reject a candidate. Stay far away.

I was excited to secure a first round phone screening with N26. It was an initially positive interview experience with an external HR rep, where we touched on my general situation and ability to relocate and one technically focused question. The recruiter made a point that in the past there were issues with getting back to candidates and he promised that he would be different - I thought this was refreshing. He was also quite clear that I was a strong candidate and would receive a second round interview and he laid out the process towards final offer. Unfortunately, like other candidates, I was completely ghosted by N26 with no further communication despite follow up emails. It's a bad feeling having no recourse and not knowing if something technically has gone wrong or what the situation is. Some very basic improvements to communication would go a long way. For starters - get back to candidates after you interview, especially if you told them that they are onto the next round :) That would be lovely. Unfortunately the recruiter did exactly what he said he wouldn't! A little disappointing, but seems it is not an uncommon experience with this company. Be better please. It's some very basic communication and expectation setting that should not be hard to achieve, and some basic human decency and respect for the *human beings* who are taking the time to apply to your company.

I got an response after 1.5 months and they invited me to first round with HR. This position was in Berlin, Germany. Remark on interview process: I found it un-professional the way she was staring and taking notes, it sounds they have a pre-determined answer and expect the same way the candidate to answer it. They are yet to understand the role of an agile coach.

I applied and got invited shortly for an HR interview. On the interview, I have a 1:1 video talk with an HR person, the job turned out different than it was described in the original job ad description and was not really a 'senior' role in the end as it was purely designed production and execution.
