Entrevista

I was contacted by a Salesforce internal recruiter as the initial role I applied for was already taken. The interview process goes as follows: 1. Phone screen interview with recruiter It's the type of phone call you'd expect, going through what you want, why you want and what you should expect during the interview stages. One of the most helpful recruiters I have dealt with however. This was a 20 minute phone screen session. 2. Team leader one on one This is where it gets a bit intense. Though I did get along with the regional lead, they would go through your experience, your month to month KPI's, year to year KPI's and whether you have hit quota. So be very prepared in knowing what you hit during the past couple of years because it would greatly assist the flow of the conversation. He specifically mentioned that the most important thing they look for is company fit based on four aspects, this includes your grit, your past performance metrics, how you think on the spot (I think), and something else. Very interesting conversation. At the end, he immediately notified me that I have made it to the next two rounds, which are back to back. This was at least a 1 hour session. 3. Next round was with another regional lead who determines the 'grittiness' of you All I can say is that if you don't know whether you want the role or you don't know what you want, this round will grill you for that. The questions go really in depth in terms of what your Everest is, who you are as a person, why you do what you do, why you got into your past roles, what successes do you see yourself achieving in the future, what you do outside of work, what projects you have done outside of work, what types of hobbies you pursue and why you pursue it. It was a really good conversation nonetheless. This was a 1 hour session. 4. Next round was more technical with a focus on how you would approach specific questions. So more competency based questions Asked more technical questions with the focus on wanting to understand how you would approach certain problems. This was a 1.5 hour session. I didn't make it past the final round listed above, but I heard that the final task they would get you to do is to write a cold email and conduct a cold phone call with a mock prospect. Overall, it was a very good experience and I would certainly apply again. Though I'm disappointed in the outcome, I did learn quite a bit from it and am thankful to everyone who took the time out of their day to consider me for the position.

The process took 6 weeks. One interview with HR, 2,5 hour interview with different managers including a sales mock. It took a long time till they finally gave me an update but without any feedback. Very disappointed how the process went.

El proceso duró casi 1 mes y en total fueron 6 entrevistas. La primera por teléfono con RRHH, la segunda presencial con la Manager en Argentina, la tercera fue una Portfolio Review presencial, la cuarta una whiteboard session presencial y en ingles con un diseñadora de Estados Unidos y un diseñador de Bs As, la quinta fue una 1:1 remota en inglés con la Directora de UX que está en San Francisco, y la última fue remoto con el VP de Ingeniería que está en las oficinas de Pilar.

  • Me gusto mucho el formato de portfolio review + whiteboard session. Fue el primer proceso en el que me propusieron estas dinámicas y creo que son mucho más efectivas que los take home exercises que hace la mayoría de las empresas aca (incluyendo las más grandes como Mercado Libre y Despegar) Me sentí mucho más cómoda presentando cómo trabajo directamente mostrando mi proceso ao vivo que entregando un ejercicio y chau. Además la whiteboard session estuvo 100% enfocada a UX y no a UI, que es el foco de los ejercicios que te mandan a hacer en tu casa y los cuales no tienen sentido si lo que se busca en un perfil analítico y funcional.

I must admit that it was my best experience of an interviewing process! You feel that you are in a “big machine” implying many people but the HR manager always kept me posted and respected the deadlines which makes the process transparent and smooth. In addition, the HR manager is really here to help you succeed in the process and provides very useful tips! Very impressive! Call with recruiter Call with hiring manager Take home exercise review Onsite round 1- case study, 2 interview and presentation of take home exercise Onsite round 2- 2 interviews with senior leadership The recruitment process was well planned until this point but there has been no update since second onsite round despite me following up with the recruiter few times. Am absolutely ok not getting an offer but as a candidate who has gone through so many rounds , I dont think its unreasonable to expect an email saying they are not moving forward.

Very thorough and engaging process. Interviewed with multiple sales leaders across the country. All interviewers asked great questions and were very supportive. You can tell this is a team focused environment with a culture of feedback and continuous improvement. I went from wanting to learn more about the opportunity to making this my top choice of the companies I was evaluating because of the depth of the process and the great people I met throughout the process.

Entrevista

I applied for this position in the Munich office. The interview process consisted of 4 rounds with 4 phone interviews and one on-site panel presentation. The interviews were mostly around personality together with cultural fit and also my background in integration development and previous working experience. They were also very interested in my motivation for MuleSoft and Salesforce. The complete interview process was split into 4 rounds: Round 1: Call with recruiter A relaxed 30-minute phone call with my recruiter - who was going to be my contact person during the whole process - about CV, motivation and general fit for the role. The recruiter also provided me with an update during and between all rounds. Round 2: Call with hiring manager A 60-minute video call with the hiring manager about motivation, working experience, handling different situations and again cultural fit. The first 30 minutes the hiring manager asked questions and the second 30 minutes I had the opportunity to ask questions about the company, role, team, etc. Round 3: Interviews with other team members 60-minute technical interview with a Customer Success Architect mainly about web services, software development, error handling and performance issues to check my technical knowledge. Again 30 minutes questions from the interviewer and 30 minutes to ask all sorts of questions. 60-minute consulting interview with a Customer Success Manager about how I would handle different customer situations and how I would approach customers. Again 30 minutes questions from the interviewer and 30 minutes to ask all sorts of questions. Round 4: On-site panel presentation They sent me an integration case with very loose requirements where I should build an integration scenario using MuleSoft and prepare a 20-minute presentation assuming I would present to a customer. In total, I had 3 weeks to work on the panel presentation. The 60-minute panel presentation (20 min presentation, 10 min Q&A, 30 min to ask questions) took place in the Munich office. All in all it was a very long but also very interesting and rewarding process. I enjoyed every step of the process and I am very much looking forward to joinig this great team soon.
