The recruitment process of MuSigma is exhausting yet fun. Something which will make you wait but is worth it. I’m recruited by MuSigma as a fresher and will be joining in NOV 2015. The rounds that i went through were – 1. Aptitude: This round tests your basic understanding of mathematics and logical skills. Nothing very complex. So brush up your basics and you’ll be good to go.We had to do 15 questions in 25 minutes in March 2015 test.Now they have started to take MuApt(Mu Sigma Aptitude and Personality Test) which will be having questions of Quant,Critical Reasoning, LR,English and some personality based questions. 2. Video Synthesis: This round estimates your listening and grasping skills.You don’t have to write a summary.You have to understand the deep idea.It also checks how precise and sharp you can put in words what you feel.But remember you don’t have to be verbose to sell an idea. Crisp and bullet points do it better. 3. Pseudo code & Case Study : This round was a written test in which we were given a pseudo code and you have to reach to the output.If you are familiar with IF and FOR loop, you will get through this question.In Case study, a situation was given and some questions were asked relating to that problem.It was a round of 30 minutes. 4. Group Discussion: This round is clearly not a typical Group Discussion (GD) round. It tests your all round management skills such as communication, analyzing a problem, validating a colleague’s suggestion, interacting with the client, providing solution to a problem.This is one of the toughest rounds as they selected on an average of 3 students out of 10. 5. Technical Interview: MuSigma is the fastest growing analytics in the world. The environment of the work place is gone be very fast paced. So to cope up with that, your adaptability skills will be tested. Your ability to react aptly to a given situation is important. Guestimate type of questions will be asked. (How many Trees are there in Delhi ?)There is no right or wrong answer to that. It is all about how you approach the problem.You may be asked technical questions based on your major/department and one wherein you are asked to solve puzzles or a case study. You’ve to be clear about what you speak. You’ve to be interesting and bit of humor won’t hurt. 6.HR Round Finally i was called for the HR interview at 1:30 AM in the Morning and the first question was”Why MuSigma?”. Your first instinct is to vomit the answer you’d prepared the previous night. Don’t. Tell them the truth. They’d like to listen to someone real for a change.Instance, I told them I had a passion for mathematics (duly reflected in my academic performances, of course. No point in bluffing).So the next question was “Tell me the probability of opening of the door in next 15 minutes”.I told him the factors which would be considered while answering this question.Finally the interview ended with some pizzas ordered by MuSigma for the selected students.
