Entrevista
An hour long phone interview that included discussions on the role and some technical questions. This was followed by a 4 hour in-person interview with a number of interviewers.
This company fails to realize that interviewing is a two-way street. The interviewers were dismissive, arrogant, disorganized and their technical questions were mostly designed to trick and belittle candidates. This paints a very clear picture of a toxic company culture.
Wasting a personal day to attend this interview made me realize that Morgan Stanley are only interested in hiring cheap, young developers who may be too inexperienced to realize that there are, at any given time, dozens of better companies in Montreal searching for skilled employees.

They asked me to give the result of some terrible spaghetti code. They asked me academic trick questions that I vaguely recalled from my undergraduate CS degree. Finally, they became noticeably concerned about my candidacy when I couldn't meaningfully discuss other areas of development that they knew of which I have no experience.

Firstly an online assessment was done followed by personal interview.
In the online assessment 3-4 questions were asked which required good understanding of Data structures and algorithms. In the Personal interview questions from neetcode list was asked.
Great processes - 4 interviews and one presentation. Over all found it fair and enjoyable . Was tough but think it was the correct process for the role and I’m glad that I took part.

Mostly technical. Asked reverse string. Asked stuff from my resume, both experience wise and technically delved deeper asking about SQL questions etc...Know your resume well and be prepared for easy lt.
