Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Miro (Berlín) en nov 2021
Entrevista
Senior Data Engineer (Data Products) In Berlin, DE
The process started on 29.10.2021 and finished 1 month after.
1. Screening zoom call with miro Sr. Tech Recruiter who contacted me on LinkedIn multiple times (nice energy!)
2. Session with the hiring manager
3. Session with the tech team
4. Behavioural session (~ a bar raiser interview)
5. Recruiter offer presentation
6. Feedback session
The whole process was done in the best possible and respectful way! The Sr. Tech Recruiter was independent, professional and super responsive! I had the impression that we are working together to get the most out of the situation which I really appreciate.
In the end, I have decided to go for another offer just because I believe I would have at this time more fun and a bigger impact with most of the core engineering team located in Berlin.

I signed the NDA.
So in general:
A technical assignment (~ 2-3 days) is related to a straightforward Data Engineering pipeline. In the session with the team, we went through the code and implementation trade-offs.
There was no architecture design session or general engineering questions like (CAP, DevOps, ...).
In the end, a bar raiser interview was the most interesting session.
Pretty standard process but long :
- HR call
- Hiring manager call : overview of tech stack, org structure specifically to data.
- Take-home test
- 3 more rounds after
I found it a bit weird because they forced you to sign an NDA for the interview process, which is actually the first time I saw that in the tech industry over the past 8 years.

Take-home test of spark project - they were really looking in details about spark code itself, didn't pass the tech test.
