The initial screening call was just the recruiter asking do you have x amount of experience without really caring about context. Feel like they literally just wanted me to spit out numbers. At the end of the call the recruiter told me I didn’t have enough experience for the position I was applying for, but I could potentially be a good fit for a similar role. I got a second interview for that and thought I did really well, didn’t hear back for almost 4 weeks after just to be told they weren’t moving forward with my application. Terrible communication and I get the vibe they aren’t serious about hiring externally.
