I applied to the position on the Mathworks website and the very next day, I got a call from a lady with whom I had a general behavioural interview. She set up a technical interview for a date 2 weeks from that day. She had told me the interview would cover Math, Programming, One of C/C++/Java, MATLAB and Signal Processing (which I told her I had majored in).
The tech interview went fine. It was all basic stuff, but I was not asked a single question related to MATLAB. I couldn't answer a couple of C questions. I was a bit rusty on it since I had last used it during my undergrad. I had worked extensively on MATLAB, but to my dismay he didn't ask me anything related to it. The interview went on for about 40 minutes and at the end, he told me he would submit the results to the concerned person and I would get a call if I was selected for further interviews. I didn't make it, since I got no call even after 2 weeks.
There were three phases for recruiting procedures. The first stage was a brief and relaxing conversation, the second stage was about technical things and hiring manager asked several questions in the third stage.
