Went through multiple rounds of interviews, multiple visits to the offices. Met with the person who would be my direct supervisor. Met with the CEO. Everything looked sunny until I was told it was the very last round, and then suddenly got a form letter email saying they weren’t continuing with my application.
My references weren’t called. No explanation of why the process was shut down, after I’d spent almost 2 months in the application process, with multiple skills tests and hours of prep and interviewing.
To say it was impersonal is an understatement.
