      After applying through Glassdoor I was contacted by a recruiter. The recruiter asked me to take a short skills test. Once this was completed I was contacted by the recruiter to see if my expectations for the role lined up with the companies. Next I was contacted by the engineering manager and was asked basic questions about working with a team and how I handle failure. After taking the assessment once again with the recruiter watching I was asked to come on-site. The on-site interview was great and I met with 4 different members of the team. They asked me standard CS coding and design questions.

      applied, took a personality test, after my score for that got accepted, i made it to the recruiter screening. It was kind of unfortunate that the recruiter was unable to answer most of my questions as he had started recently. Truthfully, I think LogicMonitor is a fantastic company and is doing some great things. Unfortunately, the recruiter seemed very tuned out and Id imagine was going off of some sort of checklist on points to cover while we were talking. So, the conversation was very inorganic. There were some questions I had about the interview process as a whole and standard behavioral questions i ask recruiters like what brought you to join the company. He proceeded to say that he'll get back to me and rushed to end the conversation. As it was a very inorganic conversation overall, when we ended the conversation, I just felt very confused. Interviews are a 2 way street. In addition to evaluating candidates, candidates evaluate companies and get a "glimpse" of what it could be from asking questions to an interviewer. Regardless of whether or not you reject a candidate, I'd advise to make sure to keep the professionalism when conducting interviews like this as it gives a bad reputation. Especially when a recruiter tells you he'll get back to you and send you an email regarding questions, but never does.... After doing my self research, I really feel like the recruiter I spoke with was just different than what most employees are like as our conversation gave me a completely different impression than the one I initially had. Nevertheless, not sure what to say here, but just remember you're putting your name out there when you conduct interviews and unprofessionalism like this doesnt look good...
