I had two phone interviews with the recruiter and hiring manager. Then had an in person interview which included a group presentation about myself and demonstrating work I have done in the past. Also a group presentation of a case study supplied by Intuit and how I would handle it. Then individual interviews with members and non members of the team and last with the hiring manager.
The interview process was very in-depth and included the following steps:
1. Initial phone screen with the recruiter.
2. First phone interview with the hiring manager.
3. Second phone interview with the hiring manager, during which work samples were requested.
4. A take-home case study assignment, expected to be about an hour in length, with a vague prompt (the recruiter did provide some tips). This also included a five-minute personal section.
5. Panel interview to review the case study, with additional requests for more work samples.
6. One-on-one interview with one of the panelists.
7. Another one-on-one interview with the hiring manager.
8. Final interview with two of the panelists.
While I appreciated the thoroughness, the overall interview experience did not meet my expectations for a company like Intuit. The extensive time commitment required from candidates, including multiple work samples and case studies, felt excessive. It seemed particularly unusual to receive multiple follow-up calls after the interviews to further clarify my responses, especially after I had asked during the interviews if there were any concerns or questions about my answers.
Additionally, the repeated requests for multiple work samples were off-putting. This practice can come across as if the company might use a candidate's intellectual property without further consideration, or it signals a lack of respect for the time and effort already invested.
Although I ultimately received an offer, it was for a contract role, despite applying for a full-time position. This "bait and switch" approach was disappointing. If a candidate is not the right fit after such an extensive interview process and multiple work samples, I believe it would be better to move on to the next candidate rather than offering a contract position instead.
Overall, I am very disappointed with this experience and am unlikely to apply for another role at Intuit. The interview process needs improvement, and based on this experience, I am concerned about what it might be like to work there.

Basic interview questions that you would expect in an interview.
The overall interview process took 2 months from first recruiter call to final interview. Virtual interview which consisted of:
1. HR phone screen who didn't know anything about the position.
2. Team member interview (30 mins)
3. Craft demo with 4 managers + 1 team member (2.5 hours).
The direct reporting manager was distracted and disengaged during the interview. People watching at the airport. He was unprepared and didn't have any questions. He talked about himself. Everyone else on the panel was nice and welcoming.

Went through an A4A process with a panel of interviewers and preparing for a case study prior to the interview. You definitely need to prepare for the interview, lot's of open ended question to see your thought process and critical thinking. Be familiar with the company culture, values and environment. Everyone I met during the interview process was very friendly and nice.
