Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 día. Acudí a una entrevista en Intel Corporation (Hillsboro, OR) en feb 2011
Entrevista
Attended a campus information session and submitted resume on website, was contacted by a department to apply to a specific position within a week (I had not submitted my information to any specific positions as I wasn't really set on my graduation date), scheduled a 30 minute phone interview, invited to an onsite interview a week later. Onsite interview was a full day, starting with an hour long presentation of my research, a technical interview, lunch/tour/question session, followed by three more interviews, one focused on personality/situational questions and two general interviews with group/area managers. Received an offer two business days later, although they said it may take up to two weeks. The people were all very nice, but it was made clear that this job would be demanding time wise (on call to resolve issues 24/7 basically) . Techincal interview was based on my resume and research presentation; if you know your material, none of what was asked should stump you. Situational questions were scripted
Was given the opportunity while setting up my travel plans to stay an extra few days to look around the area, which I would recommend that anyone take advantage of. There were 6 people interviewing with the group that day, and they made it clear from the start that we were not in competition for the same position.

Process begins with a phone screen with recruiter, followed by hiring manager discussion, then onsite interviews consisting of several one-on-one sessions, where candidates are usually expected to deliver a presentation.
It was pretty straightforward overall. They mainly asked questions about my resume, previous work experience, and the projects and research work I completed during my graduate studies. The conversation was conversational and focused on understanding my background and technical experience.
