One of the weirdest interview processes ive ever had. First few rounds are ok. behavioral phone call, then a quick "data science" assessment where all you have to do is import and clean up a csv and do some light math on it. Next is a hackerrank, easy/medium at most, only 2 questions.
Lastly, though, was the most obscure, confusing interview ive ever had. final round is a "case" interview, so they call it. The interviewer shows you an excel spreadsheet with a bunch of "features" on it, asking which one(s) you would investigate to best detect fraud in medical claims. I asked the interviewer for a clear definition on what constituted fraud, and he just gave me a blank stare, I suppose he assumed i shouldve just known, so from the get go this was really confusing. I tried explaining some things, but he seemed totally disconnected, and I was just confused from the get go. Seemed really anxious to get the interview over asap, ended the call the second i finished, and didnt leave any time for questions at the end or anything. Overall only lasted like 20 minutes, and was basically just me trying to spin something for the case that made sense.
Seems like a nice company to work at, they do some interesting stuff, people seem pretty smart, but the interview process could really use some work
