An overly complicated interview process (especially for the advertised salary) which will turn away most good engineers when market conditions improve. Several rounds of interviews including technical screenings and a take-home system design task. The early rounds were straightforward, but the design review was unexpectedly focused on trying to infer specific technology products, rather than discussing the design solution or trade-offs. Catching me off guard as I was expecting a true design conversation. There were inaccurate references to services presented with a condescending tone, which reduced my confidence in the panel. The overall experience ended on a negative note with a frankly rude rejection email. I would strongly recommend having a dedicated recruiter or hiring coordinator involved to ensure a more respectful interview experience.
