Was reached out to by the hiring manager. Had a total of four hour+ long interviews and submitted creative work based on a supplied prompt. The different folks who interviewed me were all friendly but gave little clarity to the overall interview process and never followed up. For the amount of time and effort I spent applying for a job they reached out to me about, I expected more. In hindsight I think maybe they were fishing for information about my employer at the time. So be warned.
