      Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en HelloFresh (Berlín) en sept 2020

      Applied through website Had HR screening round Scheduled First telephonic interview with "senior level" folks Even after answering all the questions from the interviewer, still got rejection. To be honest, I am glad to be rejected after reading the reasons for the rejection. It does not make any sense and the criteria for rejection, they never mentioned before the interview. Seems they just did formality and the decision was already taken before the interview. Their so-called "senior folks" seemed pretty immature to me and were just merely making things up after I asked technical questions to them for their challenges and why the product performs slow Some crucial points to note- - Everyone was polite throughout the process with a smile - Communication was on time, good or bad but still on time. - I got to know they are generations behind in tech + processes and they are lost in their own world. I just pray to god for their speedy recovery. - I know never to interview them again and how they fool candidates on daily basis.

      I nearly had 6 rounds of interviews which when looking back can clearly see it was mismanaged. When I had my first touch point call with the talent acquisition specialist I did ask about the procedure which was communicated as a 3 round process - Hiring Manager, Sr Exec and final round Sr Exec. I did ask if there was a technical round which was described as not necessary for the role. Post the completion of my 3rd round I was asked to have 2 more rounds 1 being a technical coding challenge and 1 for system design. Post these I was called back and asked if I would like to opt for the Sr Software Engr. role as the team liked to retain me somehow and that I would have 1 more round which would be an interaction casual round with a member of the team. This is where things became very weird cause the team member round ended up being an initial touch point interview comprising of technical and non technical queries which I was not prepared for. After the lengthy 1 hour session, I was called in by the HR a week later to be informed that my technical and leadership skills are excellent but the my past project references which I thought up in last round didn't allign well with the requirement. I went back and did convey I wasn't prepared for an interview as it was communicated to be a casual team member connect. 1 week later I've now been told that the hiring manager has decided to not move forward. 6 rounds. 2 months later. Back to ground 0. Hope this helps anyone whose in the interview process to be aware of. Good luck.
