They asked me some questions. I have over 20 years in the business so the tech interview was short. The Director of IT seemed very pleased with my credentials.
I asked what the hiring process was and they said what you folks have been saying here. Three hours of a movie about the company and then multiple steps for the job. They also said they do walking lunches with the owner/ceo (whoever) and of course that meens a working lunch. Wasn't crazy about that.
Anyhow after reading posts here on Glass Door I asked my Agent...."Are they going to lock me into a room with other candidates (as they said other candidates) and try to sell their product?".
Her answer was....and I quote...(cut and paste).
XXXXXX at HR management said that while you’re technically a good match, he felt it just wasn't the right fit for the company. I know that’s a little vague, I’m not sure what sort of “fit” they’re looking for, but as of now
they’re passing on all the interviewed candidates.
I will definitely continue to keep you posted on others.
