Applications are submitted via company web site. Applicant must apply to each job they are interested in separately. When called in for an interview, you are up against current HEB employees who have first chance at all job openings. Once through the initial interview, if they are interested, you will immediately get a second interview with another person. If you don't get that second interview, it's almost certain that you won't get an offer.

The interview process was easy. You get an email after your application and go through HireVue (a virtual interview) talking to yourself answering questions, then in-store, where you talk to a store leader.

It was an easy process.. They had questions about my personalith and did a background checks..
Few days later I was good to go and could give my hours of availability.
Its pretty easy process.

Entrevista
Two step interview. First a group interview and then a one on one with the store director. I was at first very scary. After you finish they will give you a call back to see if you have made it to the 2nd round. Then you meet with the store director and if she likes you then you have a job!

They asked you to sell this HEB product. It was easy since you were in a group but also odd since HEB is not in retail and a cashier doesn't need to sell anything on a regular basics.
