Entrevista
I had a first interview with a external hired consultant. He was very pleasant and gave me all the infos needed, explained all the steps and needs Google was looking for and it was okay. But when he tried to schedule the next step, he even could send me the invite but in the next day Google turned down that, because they were restudying their structure (some days later, they announced the +-8K lay-off of 2023).

Not Bad from my experience. it’s intense but structured, really focused on both problem-solving and how well you fit into their culture. They break it down into different rounds, starting with a phone screen, then technical coding rounds, and finally an onsite (or virtual) interview if you get that far. Each stage tests a specific skill set, whether it’s coding, system design, or soft skills

: Google wants fluency in a programming language—Python, Java, C++, whatever you’re strong in. The interviews involve live coding, and they’re big on clean, bug-free code. No shortcuts.
• System Design: If you’re going for a senior position, expect a system design round.

Followed the standard 5 interview process as advertised. Everyone was kind and professional. Team match process does take a long time, and given the current climate it was tough to get an offer to do something new and exciting for me.

The one question that stumped me was what to do if I found multiple teams were building competitive unit testing platforms.
