Preguntas de entrevista para Globant

La primera entrevista es a través de una plataforma online de AI que te hace preguntas y el candidato tiene que grabar su respuesta por voz (sin vídeo). Tienes un total de unos 50 minutos para responder todas las preguntas, que serán unas 15 en total. El tiempo no es apurado pero tampoco sobra. Es mejor traer las respuestas un poco preparadas de antemano. Las preguntas son del tipo "Cuentame una situación en la que...". Van de situaciones bastante variadas, las típicas que te puedes encontrar en un procese de PM. Todas preguntas se podían responder en castellano, menos las 2 últimas, que eran más sobre temas personales (que te gusta hacer en tu tiempo libre). Supongo que eran para evaluar el nivel de inglés. Lo peor es que no dan ningún feedback ni respuesta sobre esta "entrevista". Puedes esperar y esperar, y no sabes si avanzas en el proceso o ya te han rechazado.

Pase por la entrevista de RRHH y al llegar a la técnica me dijeron que el ingles era requerido. Ya lo habia consultado antes y nunca fue claro. Pérdida de tiempo.

During the recruiting process, I had a great experience. The recruiter told me about the average duration of the recruiting process, and which steps required more days to have feedback. I passed the technical interview (even got amazing feedback on points of improvement and things I'm good at) and finally got the offer. Great, huh? Well, after accepting the offer, I didn't have more updates. The recruiter only told me that my profile was being sent to projects and this step could take 8 months to really *hire me*. After several unanswered e-mails and over 3 months with no updates, I assumed I was discarded. I had to continue searching for other jobs and the recruiter knew I was already unemployed and needed a job. I don't even know if they will ever contact me again. If you get to the point of accepting the offer, I wish you good luck to *get hired*.

La entrevista final incluye una solución de diseño para un ejercicio proporcionado por el Gatekeeper. Debe explicarse el qué y cómo se llegó a la solución solicitada. Esto debe hacerse en inglés.

Processo bastante estruturado, diversas etapas. Entrevista em inglês com recrutador, teste online e entrevista em inglês respondendo perguntas com tempo determinado por um portal e finalmente com o gestor da vaga.

El proceso de entrevista consiste en una entrevista con el recruiter, una con un gatekeeper especialista en el puesto, y entrevistas con los proyectos especificos que necesitan el rol. La entrevista con el gatekeeper pregunta varias cosas teóricas del puesto.

Buen proceso, cuenta con varias etapas, por lo cual vas a tener muchas entrevistas hasta que llegue la etapa final. Se tiene muy en cuenta el nivel de inglés que debe ser de intermedio para arriba por lo general

The interview process was very clear and efficient; and with a great follow up and responsiveness from the recruiter. Each interview had a clear purpose, and they responded back very quickly after each interview in terms of the next steps and any other doubt that I might have.

It was great. There was a talent day were we got to work with other candidates on a project and present it to the public. Here you got to show your knowledge and your soft skills in team work

I did three rounds of interview: 1º - RH interview: Not much to say, they ask about your profile, experience and current job. They treated me very well and were very polite, focusing all their questions on my professional life. 2º - Technical interview: I was interviewed by a senior developer who asked a lot of technical questions about concepts like OOP, SOLID, software testing, Java, Spring, JPA and other technologies. In general, this round was very nice. Again, the person conducting the interview was very polite and made me feel very comfortable while I was being tested. This interview lasted almost 1:30h. After that point I received a message from HR informing that I was approved and also about my internal classification / salary and other details. But, they also need to find a project to fit me in and that process could take 6 months. Some weeks after they send me a new message informing that they found a project for me and a new round of interviews would start. 3ª - Another technical interview: In this interview I talked to the project manager, who is a Globant employee. He didn't want to know anything about my background, my professional life, my current job or anything like that... He just copied and pasted a code challenge into the chat and asked me to solve it while he was watching, making a lot of pressure over me. I had to share the screen of my personal computer and solve it while being observed, exposing details of my own machine and development environment. The description of the test was very confusing (much less explained and detailed than leetcode challenges). They don't have any kind of platform to enhance the experience of this kind of test and also don't provide any kind of test scenarios that you can use to ensure that your solution is correct. It was one of the worst experiences of my life, without taking into consideration that this kind of tests cannot prove anything about the capacity of a developer. I was disqualified in this test. The message I understood from that was: "Ohh, you can't solve the Rubik's cube, you're no good to us. In the end I just noticed theres still another round after this one... This proccess is long and tiring based on the conditions and salary offered.
