The hiring process is totally ridiculous especially for experienced semi conductor folks. The activity is about team building and if you come from another factory then you know how important being a team player is. Then there is the waiting game and then the physical, then the background check and again the waiting game really being experienced to go through all this and waiting for the email to say ok this is your start date, and if you are moving your family hope you have money put away because you don't get your relo money until your first pay check.

Have you ever been asked in an interview “if you were an animal what would you be and why”? Didn’t know that was the basis for hiring someone but okay.

The interview was very easy and short (this was a few years ago). The questions were simple and I felt very comfortable the entire time. It kind of just felt like a formality and that they basically hire everyone they interview.

Entrevista
They took about half a dozen of us into a conference room and we did an activity where we had to build cars. Each car had 3 parts, had different costs, and we had to determine which car to build and how many to build. Then I had two in person interviews and then one phone interview.
