Spoke with a manager at a local job fair and asked what position I would best be qualified for given my degree, he took my resume and said to go onto their website and apply within 6 months of graduating. My guess is that whomever the company sends out to the fair is the person at that time that needs a particular spot in his/her unit filled because the person they sent out ended up being my unit manager. Anyways, I applied which consisted of an online questionnaire that had statements with responses on a scale of highly disagree to highly agree for things such as being safe on the job, being a good team player, being on time, etc; I thought of those as red flag type questions where if you answered enough wrong they wouldn't even consider you past that step. The application process also included me filling out info about any degrees, my past work experience etc. I also believe they wanted an attached resume. Based on your application you would either hear from them asking you to go on to their next step or you would not move on. The next step involved signing up to take their SAM test at a testing center locally-the test took a few hours and included more of the behavioral type questions along with some basic math/manufacturing questions. Not easy, not hard but it definitely required you to be on your game. Based on this test (I think it's pass/fail), you will possibly be asked via email a few days later to come out for a set of interviews, one with HR, one with your potential manager and also a group exercise where they can watch you interact with other candidates on a common project. That part was stressful because they closely watch you. The point is to work together and contribute, not to necessarily execute whatever task they require. It was actually pretty interesting. A few weeks later I heard back saying they were interested in me further and then another month or so before an official offer came via email. This included the salary and other benefit info for you to look at. This did NOT include the shift-that would be determined AFTER you accept, or at least it did with me. HR was VERY on the ball and very friendly during the whole transition.

Describe a time when you were wrong and how you handled it at work.
Pretty standard process, virtual interview and then in person walk through. Really enjoy education background. Good overall experience, surprising amount of people in the interview. Need to be prepared but a little prep goes a long way as it would with any interview.

There was a psychological assessment and a SAM test. A standard physical and drug testing. A few exercises to see how you work with others building toy cars. Last was an interview with a few different people that was specific to the work but the questions were reasonable.
