It started with 15 or so minutes of chatting with different teams. General questions about attitude and problem solving. Tour around the area and overview of role. Everyone was nice and friendly, they were doing a new process of hiring and were used to asking more engineering related questions.

What was one time you and a colleague had a disagreement and how did you correct it
After submitting my application, I found out that the HR representative had “lost” my CV for about three weeks before finally reaching out. I had an interview with her where I answered all questions very well, but she kept asking for more detailed explanations about my current job — which is in the automotive field. Unfortunately, she didn’t seem to understand anything about the industry, so I’m not sure why she insisted on detailed explanations about things like ECUs or converters. Those questions didn’t really reveal any soft skills, and the discussion became somewhat pointless.
I stayed polite and explained everything as best as I could. Then, after an entire month, I received a call saying they were ready to move forward with the technical interview. By that time, I had already accepted another job offer, and the HR representative seemed genuinely surprised.
To put it simply — good candidates don’t stay available for long. The company should work on improving the efficiency and professionalism of their recruitment process.
Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Emerson en jun 2025

it was just the pre screening call and they asked me about my visa status, I am on OPT and said I dont need sponsorship right now as I have three years of work authorization and yet they choose not to move forward just for the visa status, coming to the questions they only asked about the resume and application answers nothing technical(atleast in my call)
