The interview process was fairly quick and comprehensive. It started with a cognitive online test, then a technical recruiter discussion about my resume and next steps. They sent over a technical take-home assessment that took about 3/4 hours to complete and at your own time which I appreciated the convenience and flexibility. Lastly, was the technical interview with the hiring manager and a data architect where we spoke about the take-home in more detail and some more about my past experiences. Overall, the process was pretty straightforward and not super high pressure. I felt comfortable throughout the process and am really glad they gave me the opportunity to showcase my knowledge and skills.

Interview process was well designed, first was a technical assessment that assessed cognitive abilities, followed by a technical challenge that I found was very practical and professional, with the next meeting to discuss the challenge along with introductory time to brief on a career history. Interviewers, Nik Green and Patrick Hoerter conducted a highly professional interview process, and I really loved the positivity in their energy that made me choose the offer to Software Emergent.

I was sent an online assessment after applying. On the very next business day, they emailed me to remind me to take the assessment. I completed it later that day. That was over 2 weeks ago and I have not heard anything. Very rude to demand such a quick response from me and then take over 2 weeks (and counting). They do not value the time of their applicants.
