The interviewer is the CEO and it was the worst and most uncomfortable interview I have ever had. He comes across as very egotistic and makes you feel lousy about yourself. It felt as if he’s simply fishing for ideas and experiences on how to handle certain situations. The office does looks impressive but I am convinced I will not like the culture and will not have a respectful and collaborative working relationship with him.
Worst interview experience. Messy and disorganised. Don’t bother applying unless you are willing to be taken for a ride. Had a scheduled interview with the CEO but he didn’t turn up. Had to leave the office as nobody knew about the interview. Took 3 weeks to reschedule for a phone interview. No confirmation is given for the interviews just email calendar invites. Also the finance team handles recruitment so says a lot about their HR processes.
The recruitment process was very obvious I was being played. There is no job opening, the hiring manager is just shopping. I was interviewed by the CEO of the company, a very charming personality. I had a few contractual jobs and was asked about it. The founder needs to realize that job market is not the same as the past years there are more contractual jobs than permanent. I was told its not true, yeah right you are probably living under a rock!
I never heard back about the status of my job interview. Well speaks volume about the culture of company especially at a startup stage. Nevertheless, wish you the best!
