An automated process that's out of touch with what matters to actually be good at the job. To any developers/engineers that may apply, please understand that you do not need to be good at these aptitude tests - or even Math - to be good at your job. Unfortunately these are set by hiring managers that don't understand what it takes to do the job well and instead want to "make sure we find smart people". Find a company that cares about your working knowledge, work ethic and track record instead of how well you can pick out shapes.

Entrevista

Started with an online application process that broadened into technical coding objectives, length written question responses, and a practical process optimization activity at the end. They say you can spend as little as 3 hours on the interview, but I found that to be wholly impractical if you were going to achieve good results. I spent about 12 hours on the full process and got a single-line rejection email with zero reasoning, zero thanks. Their VP process is suspiciously deep into the weeds of engineering management basics—things I expect my first-year managers to know and do. There was very little focus on organizational strategy, cross-organization goal setting, budget & financial planning, or really any activities that are typically the domain of a VP of Engineering.

This really isn't about an interview. A Crossover affiliated company, ESW, acquired the company I worked for and shut it down, lock, stock and barrel. Since they shut the company down, the healthcare plan was terminated. That means no COBRA. ESW/Crossover did absolutely nothing to communicate to the employees of the acquired company regarding the consequences of their actions. Furthermore, they denied that they had any obligation (moral, legal or otherwise) to inform us of anything since we were "never employees of ESW". Then they dithered in informing the insurance company that they were terminating the plan, so the formal notification of termination came late which meant that those of us who needed insurance on the open market were stuck with missing a month of insurance. Sure, I get it, we weren't employees, but if this is how they treat people, I would run away from this place.

Asked to go to a place to be in front of a pc... you can do at home NO feedback at all even after a promise of feedback. Basically i was in fornt of my own laptop at their office answering questions on a web site, where i do not get any feedback.

the interview process is very long you are asking to fill a very long form with lot of questions including , Audio records. once you finish with all the forms and online questions you are getting into a Crossover system that other companies which work with crossover can review your profile and ask you to participate in an interview. After 4 online interviews speaking with multiple team members i had a very bad interview with the last person who asked some non clear questions. as you probably understand i'm not working there but i feel it was too long and at the end it felt like a waste of time
