First interview was great - I was made to feel like I was very special and had really good skills and experience that the company can benefit from. I talked through my experience, went through a few role-related and capability questions which interviewers seemed pleased with. I was then advised that I made it to the next stage and was asked to complete a very long/complex assessment to prove once again that I'm fit for the role. The assessment took me just shy of 5 hrs to complete and I sent it back to the company and heard nothing from them since (more than 1 month ago) only an acknowledgement that they received the assessment.
