Me postulé a través de un reclutador. Acudí a una entrevista en Block
Entrevista
Pretty generic. Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and asked to set up a technical phone screen. Phone screen was rushed (interviewer had to change rooms due to issues). Interviewer also didn't seem to value candidates time, got the feeling like I was wasting his time even as I was working through the problems -- overall unfriendly and negative interaction. After a week, recruiter did not send any sort of response. I had to email them asking for results and they immediately replied.

Smooth and professional. In each round of interview, there are two interviewers present to avoid bias. All of the interview questions are conducted in online pair-programing software. really good interview experiecne, would recommend this company to anyone who values culture and respective environment.

Had a phone call with a recruiter then went on to a pair programming session with two Square engineers.
Question was a javascript problem on codepen. It wasn't too difficult but my time was eaten by searching up vanilla js dom manipulation as I've mostly worked with frameworks. Really wish that was made clear before the interview so I could of brushed up on that.

Talked to a recruiter then had a technical interview with an engineer over codepen. I thought this interview was extremely fair and enjoyable. They give you a small code base to debug as well as build new features. Interviewer provided helpful tips when needed. It's refreshing to see a company attempt to step away from the useless white boarding algorithms.
