If I had to describe the process in 2 words, I'd say rigorous and humane. Timeslots for interviews were decided taking into consideration the candidates time slots (which is not very common, but highly appreciated). I had 3 initial Interviews, a business case, a final interview and at the final stage a one-on-one with my boss to-be plus a bonus session with Argentina’s GM.

Interview via Zoom due to coronavirus. Very friendly and asked questions that had to do with daily tasks of the internship. Very good follow up after they interview. Overall it was a good experience.

Overall nice and friendly people, both HR and engineering team. However the process takes extremely long. It took them 5 (!) months of interviewing and take-home assessments to finally tell me they do not wish to proceed further. The HR was extremely slow in communicating the results with me, they needed on average 2 weeks to tell me if I made it to the next step or not. The interviews were of average difficulty but the take home assignment required insane amount of time, and in the end it felt like they were looking for someone to find answers to all the questions they couldn’t tackle themselves.

Interview process is following: 1. HR 2. Director of engineering 3. Technical screening 4. Take home assignment 5. Assignment Review 6. System design Process overall is very slow and way too long, I got rejected after stage and stage 6 is not even final yet. HRs are really unprofessional and I've got couple of times interviews scheduled and then canceled because they didn't agree with a team and every time you got contacted by the random HR to schedule the next step. They ask you to show off your programming and design skills during an assignment, but if you do they will ask you why it is overcomplicated and too generic. Take home task task takes too much time and doesn't worth the effort. My advice is not to waste your time on this process.

Take home assignment Given a csv file (each row is: ride id, latitude, longitude, timestamp), design an app which will calculate a fare for each ride given rules: if car is idle price is 10,74 (speed is < 10km/hour) per hour, in a time range from 0:00 to 5:00 - price is 1,3, if in a time range from 5:00 to 00:00 - price is 0.74. They give you an example csv file with coordinates, your application will need to able to process big files (2GB) and performance should be good (they consider everything less than 10 seconds is fast, 10-60 seconds normal, >60 seconds slow). They do not provide expected results so you have to calculate manually for 50 coordinates of one ride in the provided file Haversine distance and check timestamps to calculate overall correctly expected result for each ride.

I got contacted by a HR person, very friendly guy and very good at selling the project you'll be working on, I liked him. Then I moved to the next interview with 2 people that presented themselves as Senior Backend Engineers, I presented as Backend Engineer, no need for me to say i'm senior or not 🤷🏽‍♂️, one goy told me he was only as a viewer, fine for me. Interview continues with the other guy, which was kind most of the time but very passive aggressive, he gave me almost no time for asking questions and when he pretended to do so, cut me in the middle of my questions and told me "we need to move on and if there's time left then you can ask later", like wtf? i'm evaluating you too mate! I hate not kind, passive aggressive environments. And that added up to the fact that I got asked mainly about what a database queries look like, like inner joins difference and normalisation, got more questions about a DB and an ORM than actual code and rapid development techniques, that really makes me think seniority is still based on the amount of years your CV has got sadly. I'm trusting my gut, can't visualize working with people like that. And if you share values with me don't advise joining!
