Had a challenging 1 hour phone conversation. Was asked a lot of interesting and thought provoking "what if" questions. Was also asked some challenging and detailed questions about my professional background. The interviewer also took pains to explain the job. It should be noted that he was not the hiring manager but a colleague of the hiring manager.
