I had a very pleasant interview experience with Ascend Learning. Only a couple weeks after submitting my resume, I received an email from a recruiter to set up a preliminary phone interview. After my 30 minute recruiter call, I had a call with the hiring manager a couple of days later. I was asked to complete a two-part editing test. Upon completion of the test, I was offered the opportunity to interview. I met with the hiring manager and a few employees from both production and editorial. I appreciated the honest conversation I had with each. Everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy their work and what the company does.
