      Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 6 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Arity (Chicago, IL) en oct 2021

      Entrevista

      I was contacted by a very enthusiastic recruiter at first who brought me to an initial interview with the hiring manager. I then spoke to the hiring manager, who informed me that the two jobs I was interviewing for were different from the one I was applying for with the recruiter. I was asked to make a decision about it on the spot without knowing much about either of the 'new jobs'. All in all, I spent 5+ hours on interviews and have followed up but was never given a decision. I can appreciate if not everyone is the right fit everywhere, but spending hours on interviews with no follow-up ended up telling me a lot about the company.

      This process went over 2 months. I was contacted by the HR recruiter for a phone screen it went great. It quickly moved to the hiring manager the following week which also went well. Then a large gap of time went where I did not hear from anyone even after multiple attempts to the HR recruiter who was spotty on responding to me. I was told I was in the final running and that I would be brought in to interview with the rest of the team. This went on for 3 weeks. After I finally was proactive about reaching out I was told did I not respond to you? I explained that no one did and that I was still in the final running. I never got a call to schedule the onsite interview and then after another week went by and I reached out an additional 3 times to the recruiter I was told that it was filled. It was one of the most unprofessional interview processes I have experienced.
