2 technical rounds, 1 phone and 1 in-person. Pretty short interview day, only half-day. Everyone was super nice and easy to talk to! View at the SF office is fantastic.
- Very easy and straightforward straight out of the book: CTCI questions. Binary Tree traversal, minimum in a stack.

- 1st round was HR interview to explain about the company and to know about me - 2nd was technical code challenge followed by 1:1 interview (Which I did not clear). So they assigned me to one more team for interview. - 3rd Interview with panel and interview was regarding Java(It was easy coding exercises) -4th Interview with MD which was skype interview -5th Interview with Hiring Manger, who told they will get back to me in a week Till this interview process was positive. There was no response from either from Manager or HR after this. At least Manager or HR should have courtesy to inform what happened with interview.
- Tell me about yourself, Java basic questions and data structure questions

Very inefficient HR, they don't even reply to your emails and they don't even bother to share you your feedback, even when you cleared all the rounds and all rounds were very much smooth and good, the interviewer was impressed and then the HR said after around a week that too after calling multiple times that the response is not positive from the interview panel. This is completely pathetic guys. Please respect the time of others. If you have a budget constraint or any other issue, do let us know. So that we won't attend the interview. It is a waste of time for both the parties in that case.

It was very straight forward. First call with recruiter, then directly on-site to interview with 2 engineers and someone from design team. Interviews were 45mins each. Everyone was very friendly and respectful. Overall interview experience was very smooth.
- Fairly straight forward front end engineering questions. Nothing that will scare someone who understands JS well.

Received a call from Recruiter(AppDirect has external recruiters) that a manger was really interested in speaking to me after having a look of my background. Call 1 - 30 mins on call with the recruiter Call 2 : 1 hours Technical call from one of senior members on this team. Onsite 1 : Roughly 3 hrs onsite with 5 members on the team including two managers who I would have be working in the future Call 3 - Another 30 mins with recruiter briefing about the final Onsite 2 (This time, it includes CTO and the CEO of the company along with the 2 managers whom I interviewed earlier) Onsite 2 - Similar interview with both the managers who I spoke with during Onsite 1. Here comes the twist...Second round was now rescheduled with VP instead of CTO. This guy came from "acquisition" background and kept asking/challenging the methodologies and approach of the place where I work currently. I clearly explained this is beyond my level and I cannot move mountains in an Enterprise. Final round was cancelled since CEO had "sudden" meeting Few days, I received a decline. Pretty disappointing with how much time I spent overall including two onsite for which I had take off and commute for 2.5 hrs each time. I clearly showed my disappointment to the recruiter and shared my feedback that if single guy can "Veto" the entire decision, he should be brought in much earlier instead of wasting time. Overall, it is a SHAME this company doesn't respect the time of others.
- Standard Unix questions and scenarios. Lot of theoretical behavior questions which I am not fan of

I went through two phone screen interviews. One with HR and one with the IT manager. Everything seemed to go well so they invited me for an on-site interview. I spent two hours there. The first hour was with HR and the second was with the IT manager and another support specialist. Apparently they don’t have sysadmins so the specialists do everything. After being grilled for an hour in the technical interview I still felt things went fine since they were already aware of the the things I know and don’t know. The IT manager also kept saying how they were all about looking for individuals eager to learn. When HR called me to give me an answer they said I didn’t have enough experience even after it was clear what I knew and what I didn’t know. What a total waste of time and effort. Do not bother going through their process because you will only be extremely disappointed.

I was not looking for a job and the recruiter contacted me with an engaging message. He did a good job selling the opportunity and set up me to talk to the exec. After a thorough phone interview, I came onsite to meeting with leaders in the company. The recruiter was on top of it during the whole process, continually checking in and letter me know where things stand. Onsite interview was an amazing experience.

I was contacted by the recruiter via LinkedIn. We scheduled some time to chat and spoke for roughly 40 minutes. I was honest and told her that I was not actively searching but was interested to hear more about AppDirect and the opportunity. At the end of the conversation, she told me to think some more about the opportunity and reach back out the following week if I wanted to move forward and speak to the hiring manager. I was still unsure but did follow up with her the following week about speaking with the hiring manager via LinkedIn. I never heard back from her. Honestly not even sure I would have been interested to proceed but it's incredibly disrespectful to ignore a candidate you reached out to in the first place. Very poor candidate experience. The Glassdoor reviews now make sense. When a company shows you who they are. Believe them.
- Tell me about yourself.
