Worse Interview Process. Applied for a position in Toronto, ON. Got contacted by a hiring manager who was in India. Wanted me to give an interview early morning (8-9 am), due to time zone difference. I agreed. But he didn't show up for the interview despite the confirmation. Did not respond on either LinkedIn or email. This is before (2020 December) the covid situation got worse, so I am sure the hiring manager did not reply due to the bad COVID situation in India in mid-2021. I contacted a senior-level employee through LinkedIn to ask for correspondence, they said they would help but have not received any response. Don't waste your time here.
- The guy called me to discuss my resume and then scheduled a google call for which he didn't show up, what a joke!

There were total 3 rounds 1) Hiring Manager Round 2) Pair Programming 3) Technical Interview Overall interview process was ok. 1) Hiring Manger Round More of the current project related questions, What exactly the process in company? Day to Day work? Exposure to what all technology stack.? 2) Pair Programming Total 5 questions test on Hired portal based on String manipulations mostly like Reverse the string, append string reverse word in string like wise. 3) Technical Interview Scenario based and one coding question to solve frequency count of given word in list
- Given a text, extract the frequency of each word, and produce an output sorted by applying the following conditions: a. descending order of frequency b. ascending alphabetical order, in case two or more words have the same frequency (clash) Ex. class java set map java object java class object list Output java 3 class 2 object 2 list 1 map 1 set
- Limits the number of requests a single API consumer/client can make to an API within a time-frame. Rejects excess requests (http status code 429 Too many requests). Eg. 200 requests per API consumer/min. Considerations: A. Assume single API endpoint B. Core idea/algorithm that would work on a single machine (single/multi - threaded) C. How would you scale the design for a distributed environment under heavy load Note: Even load balancers or API gateways are distributed, not single instances.

I had a referral. I was scheduled for interview with hiring manager after being short interviewed by recruiter. Hiring manager literally asked everything about my life in Montreal and hardly anything about technical skills. Only one question in Java to which I gave 2 possible approaches- most optimized and not so optimum. (Both of which are correct by the way) JUST ONE QUESTION. THAT'S IT! . After that I was asked if I had any questions. Next call, recruiter tells me that hiring manager doesn't think I am technically strong enough! I was dumbstruck! Like you didn't even ask me anything. One question that you asked, I gave you not one but two right answers. And how did you decide I'm not capable?

The recruiting process is at a fast pace. And interviewer shows great respect. Expect the HRBP, I feel she didn’t care about what I said to her question. And she told me there are 14 people in the final round. Overall, the HM and director is good.

I interviewed for their Microsoft Team, the team is working on integration with Microsoft API. First round is a simple HR chat; second round is coding exercise, very simple question, which gives you some conditions step by step and ask you to modify your previous code and refactor. The way they design the question is very stupid; thrid round is technical chat, ask some technical question, still very easy; fourth round is chatting with one team member for some random topics, for team matching; then chat with Engineering Director; chat with HR to learn their values.

Initially HR told me I am expecting more salary than the offered salary and she had to talk to her reporting manager and she did. And I gave 2 round of interview which I cleared But afterwards HR said that I am expecting more salary and she had to talk to her reporting manager I said okay. She said she will get back to me tommorow on friday. I emailed her on friday evening, but didn't get a reply. I then texted her on Monday afternoon still didn't get a reply then a called her around evening. She said she saw my messages but thier reporting manager is in US and it will take 2 more days and she would reply on Wednesday. I said ok ... On Thursday I called her and told her to remove my name from the interviee list and she agreed. Really disappointing experience...

The entire team was amazing throughout the hiring process. I applied through LinkedIn and received an email from the recruiter in about 10 days to set-up a call with her. Within a few hours after my call with the recruiter, I got an email for the next steps. The call with the hiring manager was about 45 mins long and he asked a lot of questions about my background, we discussed 2-3 work from my portfolio website and he answered all my questions very patiently. Within a week, I was asked to come on-site for the final round. The on-site interview consisted of 1 hr of portfolio presentation and 5 one-on-one interviews. During the portfolio presentation, I was asked questions regarding the design decisions I made, how I collaborated with my team and how did my design impacted the users and business. I had my one-on-one with two Staff UX Designer, a Senior UX Designer, Software Engineer (Senior Position) and Product Manager. Everyone was extremely involved in knowing about my experience and understanding my journey as a designer. Each of the on-site interviews was 30min long which I felt to be too short and rushed, I hope they make it 45 mins in future.

I started with an HR phone interview followed by the hiring manager Hangout Interview. I had one on-site meeting with a few members of the team and a few hangout interviews after the on-site. In general, it was a great experience. Everyone was super friendly. The product and role seem an excellent position. I could say some of the product managers and the VP of the product was smart and so knowledgeable. I think for me it was terrible timing and some other priorities in my life lead to turn down the offer, and still not sure if I made the right decision.

30 min call with HR and 4 hour onsite interview. The onsite interview was long. It was 4 rounds. I thought I performed well in 3 out of 4. The first one was a programming challenge along side a developer, leetcode style questions. The second round was with the hiring manager, asking questions about my experience. The 3 round was with one of their senior engineers, he asked me really unclear questions about architecture and was unexpected and did not reflect an entry level developer position, this is the round that didn't go well and I thought it was unfair that this was the deciding factor since it was such a vague interview. The final round was with a product manager, we spoke about my projects and interests to see if I was a good fit, and he was really pleasant and I got a good vibe. A challenging interview, and the company didn't seem to value soft skills very much. It's unfortunate this took a full day and there was a negative outcome.
