Entrevista
Chat with the hiring manager, followed by system design, values, and leadership interviews plus a presentation of work I've done in the past. I've heard everything went great, but didn't get the role anyway and got thrown into some kind of pool to be scooped up by HMs. They reached out several months later with a role and I assumed there was a match in said pool, but it may have been an independent passive reachout since the new recruiter was not aware of the old. Although I had already interviewed and I ensured the two recruiters were connected, and despite having an exploding offer, they made me repeat the same loop with the same problems, which the interviewers told me I aced again. The same outcome occurred, and I am once again in this nebulous candidate pool waiting for an HM to scoop up.
It seems to me that there is some kind of selection happening post-interview that requires quite a bit of luck to get a job here, or perhaps they are not serious. Performance on the interviews alone does not appear to be sufficient. I came away from the first experience positive on the company, but after the second I felt very disrespected, especially after turning down a good offer to go through this process.
