It began with a misleading job posting. Based on that posting I applied and was called in for an interview. Tin which the he initial interview consisted of a group session in which we were once again mislead. The manager kept referring to very specific compensation for each progressive position we might obtain in our career there. He never said the position was 100% commission and never said that there are no benefits. He mentioned there was assistance with health insurance but I later learned there is none. He said that there was a 2-week paid training period but I later learned that the "pay" is the commission you earn and nothing more. They seemed to bend over backwards to create the illusion that this was NOT a 1099 position. I was called back the next day and asked to come back for a second interview. I asked very specific questions about the position at that time. I was offered a position and told the (third) manager that because I wanted to give them a 100% commitment when I accept the offer I would need to take a few days to consider the offer before I could accept. I was told that they needed to make a decision by 3PM that day. I specifically asked the manager, "Are you telling me that you want me today but you won't want me tomorrow?" Of course they want me any time. I am more than qualified for the position and have been very successful as a Licensed Agent in the past. It is a 1099 position, of course they want me any time! But she held her ground and insisted that I make a decision by 3PM that day. I told her that I have a problem with that and declined the offer. I was shocked that they would use such strong arm tactics. I suggest that licensed insurance agents be very cautious with this company.

Overwhelming initially. They will not greet you and some random person will ask who are you there to see. They may be ready for you or not. They are used to people not showing up so they assume that with everyone.

Interview process is easy, fast paced. You are led on to believe that it is paid training but it is not. DO NOT expect to make any money for the first three weeks after accepting the job. It is 1099

I went through multiple different interviews, a group and one-on-one interview and then once in the company I met with the higher ups individually over zoom. It was confusing because in the group interview, they mentioned a base salary but once in the position, it was everyone fending for themselves for solely commission.
