The process was pretty unclear and although I was expecting a one-on-one interview, I learned when I arrived that it was a group interview. The interviewer pitted candidates against each other and tried to sell insurance to everyone. It was a generally uncomfortable experience.

1 main interview, very laid back. Met with account manager discussed position and certifications needed for the role. Role is very outbound heavy commuting to different locations such as schools and other main employers to get clients signed up

First round was a group interview by zoom. After a late start, the host stated he'd just 'hung up on a broker' after that call had gone long, then argued that unlike other insurers, Aflac sales reps aren't pressured to sell to family. Many participants dropped, I was one of them. Really disappointing and bears out Aflac's reputation for bad practices and environment in the sales department.

The first interview is a group zoom informational session. Then if interested a one on one 2nd interview. The second interview can be via video or in person. They sell you the job so you can sell for them. They sell you on you to be your own boss. 1099
